A Family Holiday Concert on the High Seas!

Portland, OR, November 27^th 2005… X marks the spot for an afternoon matinee of poop- deck pop, buccaneer rock, and holiday hi-jinx from the band for pirates of all ages, CAPTAIN BOGG & SALTY. The scallywaggs of Captain Bogg & Salty will be holding a special, one-show only, holiday performance of their signature brand of “pirate rock music” sprinkled with a few festive surprises for the season.

Captain Bogg & Salty are a NW favorite with appearances ranging from their standing room only performances at libraries in Oregon and Washington and shows at The Bite of Oregon, The Rose Festival, Pendleton Round-up, and The National Orange Show in California, to their very own summer festival of pirate music (now in it’s 7^th year) FESTIVAL de PIRATAS. Their newest album PEGLEG TANGO has received rave reviews from children’s groups like www.parenthood.com and the Slate as well as magazines; Kids Home Library, Nick Jr. Magazine, and Entertainment Weekly. Pegleg Tango has also been awarded the 2005 NAPPA Gold award from National Parenting Publications Awards.
